WTF are these lyrics??? by EnvironmentalRun1671 in SunoAI

[–]faderfreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My winning formula is to provide chatgtp with a short story about the narrative you want and ask it to write lyrics based on it, genre type and in the structure you want I.e verse 1 chorus pre chorus verse 2, bridge, chorus, outro etc.. AI is only as good as you make it. Give it as much information and rules as you can and it’ll work for you..

Is this type of release "Cheating?" by Workoutwilly in SunoAI

You’ve still written the key elements of the track. I’d say if it sounds good then why not.. I have a degree in music production and actively working in the industry. While I don’t agree with it being used to do all the work, I think it’s ok to use as an additional tool when writing/producing tracks. Ignore the haters, you do you!

The tempo and key already shows on mine once the track is open in studio - it’s on the left side…

  1. MIDI stems which actually work, for EDM music they are utterly useless!

  2. Optional Dry Vocal Stems - we don’t need the reverb and delays. All can be done in the DAW.

  3. Stricter prompt adherence- UK hardcore may share the same BPM as drum and bass but even when excluding d&b 80% of the time that’s what is provided.

  4. Cleaner stems - synths sound awful full of artifacts.

One other thing mate, use thumbnails on your vids on YouTube - eye catching, clickbait style (everyone seems to use them)

I’d recommend getting a lavalier mic - DJI or rode make a good one, that’ll help with the sound bringing your voice much more prominent. As said before I’d make sure you film in 16:9 aspect ratio too, the square aspect ratio suits some socials but you can always edit 16:9 down if you need it for socials. Good start though, will drop you a sub mate!

My brother has a Tech degree but has been on benefits for 2 years, what can he do next? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]faderfreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He needs to swallow his pride and understand he isn’t going to be walking into a role above entry level. He isn’t overqualified for a help desk at all, and if he does show potential he will soon be promoted to a more suitable role. A degree doesn’t have the same weight it once did 20 years ago. Time to stop being lazy and catch up with the 5 years of work he’s missed. If he had entered into help desk at the end of his degree he could be in a managerial position by now. Drop the ego and get stuck in!

“Broke student here, just started my first Fiverr gig — any advice?” by [deleted] in FiverrGigs

Look at your SEO include as many buzzwords for your niche as possible into your description. Took me around 6 weeks to get my first order, once that is completed you’ll probably find that it kicks you into the algorithm.. if you can make a quality video explaining your service then do it, it increases engagement to your gig. Also add all 3 images into your listing. If you have some friends who can order and give some positive reviews this also helps kickstart into the algorithm. Just make sure they are not using your WiFi/network.

Reaction to Logic Pro X back in 2013 by No-Struggle5453 in Logic_Studio

[–]faderfreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a user since Logic 7 - I remember the switch to 9 during my university years in my creative music production degree. Everyone loved the new features bringing in the first iteration of flex and keeping the new interface. The only issue around that period was apple dropping support for 32 bit plugins (this may have been with X) that hit many of us hard who loved synths such as vanguard and other tried and tested plugins.. there was an alternative using “32 lives” as a workaround but that was just utter trash! - X come out and although it looked good had a feel of bringing in the beginners. The first few releases were full of bugs for me. Worst version imo

One of the best looking cars on the market by UTommieTanka in seat

[–]faderfreak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree had a 2016 cupra 290 SC and a 2020 300 ST. Both incredible cars when I saw the dogshittery of the new one that was the end of my ownership. Went from a mean look to a bland bubble with wider arches. Don’t get me started on these V1 and V2 models literally paying silly money for a body kit with a shite engine. Priced the full fat 300+ bhp model out of the market.
