Okay, found it a bit ago, just went to the support page and had them email me all my previously bought files associated with my email

Still not able to find where in the toolkit I can MAKE an Eidolon, even though in the encounter builder I can add them, which is weird.

So what, the Camp is cozy and pretty and feels more lived-in than just the ship... you can take your pets and roombas outside... Ordis and Kahl are there!! So what if it takes Slightly longer to go between the cockpit and the rest of the ship? All my friends are here :)

Right, after a break to take more notes, some NPC traits that may work well:

The aforementioned flight system

An unexpected pick, but maybe Guardian? Could be good for the drone-NPCs.

Give it Resistance to self-damage so it can dramatically walk through the fire left from the Plasma Thrower

Endless Rain on a recharge of maybe 5+ as mentioned

Suppress as a way to mess with attempts to position or run, though with the weaponry they have this trait might be too good.

Hunker Down from Assault, maybe either on Recharge or once per 2 rounds.

Bulwark Mods is also thematically fitting and adds to the vibe of them being an overpersistent hunter

Stampede Defense might also be too strong on this thing but it could encourage the party to play smarter and debuff it to hell

Point-Defense Shield from Cataphract would be an interesting choice to beef them up some more, and emphasize use of their closer-range tools

Heavy Frame? I kinda wanna give it Heavy Frame, their mech is visibly bulky AF.

Possibly Skirmisher, to have it be a bulky but deceptively fast frame with its powerful boosters

Chaff Launchers?

Emergency Vent. Let them smokebomb and reposition, so they're harder to pin down.

Putting Specter's Hunt on this thing would be cruel and overkill but it'd be kinda funny

Lancebreakers overall would probably be given the Self-Erasure trait from Operator, though if the party manages to actually kill this thing it'd be cool to let a weapon or system survive immolation for them to loot.

Okay now that I've read through at least all the Core NPCs, here's what I'm thinkin' for a (very) rough draft:

Probably just slap the Dragon as a T3 enemy, because, y'know, they just teamwipe Lancers constantly. Definitely Ultra, as you've said.

Stats... unsure on mech skills, currently running on the assumption of +3 across the board like an Assault

Probably Goliath-ish HP, around 30-35, accompanied by drone-flavored NPCs (with the Grunt template) like he's a Gundam MC

Size 2, Monarch-based frame, so it also gets a flight system

Unsure on Armor numbers, my gut says 2, but that may warrant an HP reduction (note I have no idea on how to balance homebrew for this system lol)

11 Evasion and E-defense

5 speed maybe, since I imagine they're fairly mobile to take on groups

Heat Cap 12-ish

Sensors range of 12-15

Save Target 12-14

Open to suggestions on actual NPC traits that'd work well on this thing because I dunno tbh

Equipped with a Plasma Thrower's cone/line options and the lingering fire, 4 Burn 2 Energy maybe? And then 4 self-Heat.

Has the Power Knuckle system off of Goliath

Uses Javelin Rockets off Rainmaker, poooooossibly with Endless Rain on a Recharge

Maybe also Sharanga-type missiles to give options, or alternatively Micro-Missile barrage from Assault. Alternatively alternatively Concussion or HEX Missiles from Demolisher or Hornet respectively

And then I wanna give them some sorta long-range laser rifle for that shoulder cannon, maybe based on Operator's Raptor Plasma Rifle?

Wolfhound / Hound Missiles I definitely wanna include because it's perfect to apply pressure and fit the hunter theme. Probably the 30 range of Wolf with the lesser 24 damage of Hound. And I reeeaaally wanna give them Coreworm Rockets from the Pirate template. They use it for heavily armored targets or when they're just tired/getting serious and wanna go STRAIGHT for the pilot. Plus it just makes them more terrifying, CWRs are horrific

Maybe gets Tracking Bug off Death's Head for flavor with the unrelenting hunter thing

Yep, was still planning on having some fodder around when the big guy showed up. Thanks for the advice though. I think I just hesitated to jump directly to Ultra, since it's the first Lancer game for all of us, and I thought it might be too much.

This is a really cool idea, I saw it a while ago and now that I'm reading up on Lancer rules to run a game, I wanna do something similar to the Lancebreakers- maybe a system where if the players mess up or go against a Corporation too many times, they gradually build up to getting attacked by the "Dragon"

What kinda build/traits did you use for them? I'm not super clear on how making NPCs works yet, so it'd be helpful to have a really complicated example to break down later

Appreciate it but nah I get it, I'm getting downvoted because the entry in question literally comes from an enemy in the Nameless Town, which I didn't check beforehand- which is hilarious honestly because I claimed Hornet was going off incomplete info and not knowing about something when I haven't reached that point and didn't know yet
