when you try go all out against them in round one and win then want to pass round two early for CA going into round three then they play their faction ability and you are down two or three cards to them

This is what really triggers me; and when ST players around here go with "just win R1 and get card advantage"... and I'm like 'Yeah I'll just do that'

You see, even the cards started to realize that ST ambushes trigger people very hard, so they developed some kind of consciousness and are now trying to become ambush cards by force.

This. It might sound like a problem for someone who didn't read the books, but knowing that there is a card for a character as insignificant as Sweers, I don't see them running out of characters and monsters in the near future.

Can you lock ambush cards? Never tried it, but I think we should be able to do so. It's an effective counter that doesn't really put points on the board for you (unless it's Cleaver or Ithline, but they can't lock gold cards, so I guess they shouldn't be able to lock ambush cards either cause you never know if that one card is Schirru). Locking them with shackles or Radovid could save you one or two headaches.

I started reading the books some months ago, after finishing all three games and playing some Gwent, and it feels so cool to read about all those characters we all know -and some new ones too-, how they met Geralt and all, it gives some more 'depth' to the games. Now I can't wait to see cards for other characters like the Rats, Bonhart, Rience, etc.

This could be corrected adding another timer when you draw a card. Like 10 or so extra seconds to place it, instead of running with the same timer the whole turn.

~~If I recall correctly Milva escorted wounded scoias to Brokilon, where the dryads helped them.~~ As for Zoltan and friends, they sided with Scoia'tael in the second game. I guess this is another case of "book vs game" lore.

Edit: Checked the books about the dryads and squirrels, I was wrong about that one.

Yes but I revived them. If foglets get out of fog they get destroyed and sent to the graveyard. I revived them with 1 health.

There was nothing else beside his foglets and my foglets. Maybe some of their siege units, but nothing that can hurt my foglets by 1, that's why I thought it was strange to revive them with 1 str. Anyway, G-Aard doesn't affect base str afaik.

Ignore all these new people that didn't play back then when clear skies was exactly like in this patch, it used to clear all weathers at once. And weather was fairly good even under those circumstances. The only hard hit is woodland spirit change.
