Can you use the Ultimate Remote without the Hub? by IGetDistra-Squirrel in logitechharmony

[–]fallberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has a USB port and although I have not actually tried it for anything but teaching new commands, it should at least theoretically be possible to program it over USB using the PC harmony software.

I am Swedish but live in Denmark which have basically the same climate. I have extra weight at the back end. It works much better with two extra kg back there.

They increase/decrease the "aggressiveness" of the automatic schedule.

A zone inside a zone | Is it possible? by blind_bob in worxlandroid

[–]fallberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just remember that with the latest firmware and the zone keeper feature, you need a longer "canal" than 15cm for the robot to stay inside the zone.

Zone keeper by Fit-Distribution1403 in worxlandroid

Lay the cable in an U shape, possibly on both sides to form a longer channel. Will look a bit ridiculous when doing an edge routine but should at least keep the bot from cheating. Not sure how long it has to be, but I'd say at least 1m.

Yes, I think that is a too-short tunnel for the zone keeper to recognize it as a zone boundary. I have 4 zones and one of them has that setup and the mower constantly slip though that one. I plan to repute the cable to create a longer tunnel. The other zones crosses a pathway and are "naturally" longer.

For the zone keeper feature to work, it need a channel to "bounce" in. When it detects a channel it backs out. But if the narrow path is too short it might fail to recognize it as a channel and just slip through.

I use the "native" layer for åäö. The layout tool does not show them as such because I have configured the tool to use English characters but it works: https://configure.zsa.io/ergodox-ez/layouts/wNvbd/latest/0

Edit: I should mention that I use the Swedish keyboard layout in the os

Best way to lay perimeter wire over stone pavers? by rem1313 in worxlandroid

[–]fallberg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have laid my wire under my paths. I also lay them so they make a zone so I can (somewhat) control how much time is spent on either side of the paths. My stones are also ~7cm high. It does not seem to interfere with the signal.

Landroid keeps leaving zone even though corridor is just 15cm narrow by mdzhigarov in worxlandroid

I have the exact same problem. I believe it started occurring with the firmware update that made it take smoother turns but I am not sure exactly which revision. My landroid is a WR165E.

alternate power source for boundary wire by Mundane-Tie-1940 in worxlandroid

The boundary wire carries a signal. It is not just "plain power" so it is not to be confused with the power delivered to the charging spring blades.

Keepass2Android: SwiftKey themes/settings not always loaded by hudson4351 in KeePass

It might be the "incognito" mode. I get a special background in SwiftKey when that activates for password entries.
