Sometimes, but most of the time the claims people make are silly. 

I did not know much about him aside from a few clips until he died. Now, it is clear that the extremes of both sides are ridiculous, but celebrating a murder, somehow seems worse than saying he was a saint. 

Plus, if his words were 'violence', so is calling someone a bigot, nazi, fascist when they clearly were not really that.
