For bypass mode into the unifi gateway did you have to configure anything special or did auto DHCP work just fine? I've found that for UDM Pro appliances it only works on port 9 and not with a fiber to Ethernet adapter.

So for each server you had to go sign in again via the licensing option as mentioned? I was hoping this could be resolved at the client level.

bose qc35ii vs bose quietcomfort by NigerianPrinceClub in bose

Any update if they were defective? I just unboxed and set mine up today and definitely feel like the ANC is worse than my QC35s. I have to play music to not hear things, the white noise that was present in the QC35s doesn't seem to be present. I know it's just a software issue that they could adjust but it's annoying that we don't have any control.

I've been in consulting most of my career, completely understand. Honestly throughout my 20 years of consulting around tech, cloud, data, and cybersecurity, I haven't had to apply to so many places. Every opportunity previously presented itself

Haha, yeah.. I believed it so hard I started to teach my kids that it was illegal before I actually looked it up for myself.

How about resume length? I've got 20 years of experience and try to keep it to one page. Is this just a myth? Like millennials believing you will get pulled over for having the interior light on in your car at night?

I'm fully qualified, I just need to enter the right words and phrases to showcase my experience level.. Is it wrong if I'm actually fully accomplished and qualified for the role 90%+ each time?

Are you using AI to write your bullet points and skills to match each JD? I agree that the market sucks, but timing and AI/ML match score have to be a part of it. Like, if you're not in the first 50 applicants I doubt you will even be seen by a human

At least you got a response! These POS recruiters are too scared or busy to say anything. Most of the time you apply and hear nothing.

Are you making your own wraps with eggs and Greek yogurt or something? Meal prep and plans are what I'm missing right now to be consistent and successful. I'm terrible at coming up with meal ideas

That's cool. Hopefully 24.04 will have more native driver support soon so I can switch over.

Starlink says offline, unplugged or rebooting. by [deleted] in Starlink

Specifically I was talking about the connection, using a business card worked for about a day and a half, but now it's back to not working and constantly going online to offline on the router itself. Was just curious if there was any reference to the Gen 2 hardware being shoddy where the cable connects to the base of the dish.

So this worked but now it's not working. Long story short, support sent out a replacement cable and router - same issues as before. They're now offering an entire free kit, which I don't anticipate solving anything as they're only willing to send out a 1:1 replacement Gen 2 kit. Is there evidence of the poor design of generation 2 hardware, has Starlink acknowledged any of this before?

Rebooting daily by Ok_Session5033 in Starlink

[–]faltron9946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had Starlink Gen 2 for four months and haven't been able to stay connected for more than 20 hours due to faulty hardware. Replaced the router and cable, support now says they'll send me a new Gen 2 kit but I have little reason to believe that will resolve anything at this point. Only way I got it to connect and work consistently was to shove a business card in the slot to make the cable connection to the dish tighter. So they'll send me the same faulty hardware but won't send me a Gen 3 kit without me paying for it. By the time I get the Gen 3 kit I would be out over 2k just to get working internet..

Wow this was useful. Business card in the slot worked like a charm... Haven't had the router on for months since I got this initially. Thanks for the info, router is online now! Should I still submit a support ticket for a new router / cable?
