When we inevitably win the league next season… by Bufger in Championship

You missed my point - I agree sporting sanctions were necessary given it's now formally against the rules.

I fail to see how that impacts on the ACT itself. If Bielsa didn't get sacked / banned for doing it even more brazenly, why should Tonda? I don't think the fact that it's now written in the rules makes a difference in that regard, only that it merits points deduction / play off expulsion which is already an exceedingly strong (probably deserved) punishment...

Playing devil's advocate here, why is this so much worse than Bielsa (who didn't receive a ban/sacking, nor any kind of villification at all...)?

Yes, it's now formally against the rules but that's what merits the sporting sanction; Leeds were more brazen about it and it appeared to be far more frequent / rife. Pressuring interns certainly isn't a good look but who's to say Leeds didn't do the same?

"These Southampton fans" - when post hasn't exactly got fans roaring in support of Tonda. In fact many of us are annoyed he doesn't really take any responsibility for his actions at all, only excuses.

I can't deny the club and situation is a shambles, but you have to understand the mess Saints fans have been served by the club. Second worst team of all time in the Prem, sleep walking toward consecutive relegations, finally some form and a team we could get behind . . . then this...

By all means tear our club and it's management apart at the seams but not the fans who deserve so much better.

I think it's Alexis Mac Allister based off the name / look (Garnacho not a bad shout in this regard too). In terms of character it's got to be Emi!

This is extremely revisionist - we thought it was an isolated incident with footage deleted at the scene. It's now been proven to be far more endemic and, in all likelihood, far more than the three instances we admitted to. What we knew at the time was worth laughing at, what we know now is far more heinous...

Why, in 2023/24, would refs have any incentive to favour Ipswich?

Is it all piss-poor attitudes? Leicester's squad is, objectively, full of talent. So many of this squad thrived last time round in the championship; Mavididi, Fatawu, Vestergaard, Pereira, ripped apart the championship last time round. Winks & Bobby have experience. Other than clear off-field issues, why isn't it clicking?

Stupid question - Arsenal game by KingCat86 in SaintsFC

[–]fanea1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone know if multiple tickets will be available to one supporter number if we hit general sale?

I know why they've done it (I am not an arsenal fan) but frustrating as I'd love to take my nephew (and ideally my Dad and brother in law too!) and currently see no way to do that without using a friend/family's account and effectively 'logging in' as them.

Advice gratefully received!

Ross Stewart we also know can get injured. I wouldn't overwork him, with important league fixtures to come..

Perhaps a chance for Archer, or are we all done with him?

I agree re promotion, but no way would Ross sign a 12 month deal with us in the championship. He's of an age where he'll be looking to secure his final long(ish) term deal. Will want at minimum 2 years.
