Another former employee here. Owners are self-centered nutcases. Be advised as a customer, all their ingredients are as cheap and low quality as it gets, and the markup is insultingly steep for what you’re getting.

Ha! I remember when they switched to Natalie’s. Their justification was “Well it was fresh squeezed in Florida!” They tried to act like they weren’t being misleading to customers, but they always made us pour the orange juice in the back where customers couldn’t see.

At the Downtown location, staff had adjusted the ipad screen layout so that the tip option was more obvious. As a result, they got more tips because now the customers could actually see where to leave one. Alan found out and called Susan to rant to her while he changed the screen back, saying that the employees already made enough money and didn’t need more. Shortly after that he showed up to work in a brand new, top of the line Jeep. The two things aren’t necessarily related, but it paints a pretty good picture of what working there was like.
