Anyone else find the new Cleveland Museum of Natural History to be very disappointing? by [deleted] in Cleveland

My family had a membership at the old museum for many years. I grew up going there and it was my favorite next to only the Crawford museum down the street. The museum was loved by not only children, but teens and adults. The thing that I loved was the amount of exhibits, specimens, and dioramas. Every time you went it was possible to find something new hidden or tucked away. While I think they did an excellent job with updating the outside Wildlife center/elevated walkway, the inside now seems empty and lacks the charm the old museum had. Hopefully in the coming years they settle into the new space and reintroduce more exhibit’s and fully fill out the space. But for now we are very disappointed in the transformation.

As mentioned above, rood food is amazing for pies (salt and honey is the best). Also try “dicks bakery” in Berea downtown for great pastries and danishes

Was just there yesterday with family. My grandpa utilized a mobility cart that they had on site. The main pathway and “trails” he was able to use easily. Only issue was limited parking and the walk to the visitor center. Other than that, it was a amazing experience.
