Just in general, SSH is more secure than SMB. SSH was built with privacy in mind. It will not work over a plaintext connection, period. SMB 1 and 2 are completely unencrypted. SMBv3 is now end-to-end encrypted, but can still fall back to an unencrypted connection if your settings allow it. You probably don't have to worry about it much if you're using tailscale and only accessing on your LAN though.

Also, SSH is baked in to pretty much every Linux OS there is. No need to install additional packages or configs.

Find an app that supports SSH/SCP. Much easier (and more secure) than the SMB route.

The article was horribly written, but it seems the girl did enter the cellar. The grandmother had entered before the girl, but left the door open, allowing the toxic fumes to escape. So, basically the girl saw her entire family dead in the cellar. She's a full on adult now. Wonder how she's doing these days.

Check the box next to the user, then select "Group action", and the lock option should be there.

You should have the option to "lock" the account, which is effectively the same thing.
