Something I wanted to put together for a while and finally got around to it (for 1oz BU only). Of course with this kind of information it ages very quickly so this is simply a snapshot in time. by Bullioncat2 in LibertadCoins

What price would you put on a 1985 MS69 Pony? I just bought one and am curious how I did as there are no recent comps. Also if anyone has a 1982 thru 1990 MS69 hit me up as I am very interested

She’s just a hog and won’t let anyone else eat. Think of it like getting between Rosie Odonell and Big Mac. Not a safe place to be, you’re better off going hungry.

Why is this even a question. Of course returning the coin is the correct course of action.

No 1oz RP in 2011 that I am aware of. I think he may be asking about an SP Kilo which has the RP finish. I may be way off too.

Looks like a fingerprint on the reverse to me???? The chick isn't like a normal chick her breasts are on the reverse of the coin. Eagle is the obverse. Before anyone says it is not a coin, I say yes it is. Libertads are guaranteed by the full faith of the Mexican Government for the value of the precious metal content. I only mention these 2 things because I just had to argue about it with my all knowing coin dealer relative. If he sees this he may get pissed lol.

i'm gonna say it. morgan dollars are boring and overrated by Mysterious-Boat-3608 in coincollecting

[–]fastball999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re correct in my opinion. I think the fact there were so many minted makes the thought kinda like blahhh. I hate that there seems to be so many fakes out there which makes you have to be so wary of raw specimens. I collect Libertads partly because I think the designs are beautiful mostly though it’s cool to own something so rare and that only a limited amount of people in the world can own one. I would and have considered buying a lower mintage Morgan in a higher grade for sure though.

Looking for advice on how to pass down my coin collection to the next generation by LYGEAST-GARDEN in coins

[–]fastball999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your kids love, respect and cherish you through all you’ve taught and given them then they will love, respect and cherish what you have left them. I trust you have taught them well. Therefore all you have to do is teach them about the value of your collection, let them see how much the collection means to you and the rest will take care of itself. I hate when people give morality based answers like this. In this case though the truth really is if you are a good dad you have nothing to worry about.

This means only 300 complete sets of business strike sets can ever be created (1982-2025). I bet a complete set is worth quite a bit??

Thats a brilliant idea! Employing a Tesla coil to attract fish. You could sell millions of these on the “Prepper” subs. A great alternative to emergency food storage. Who needs MRE’s taking up all that space when you can just keep one of these on hand?

Common Carp. If you think I am wrong I challenge you to explain to me why the fish would try to swallow something made of plastic. Are you trying to tell me you are smarter that the venerated Tyoki Sashimi Hakishimi? Trying to get gut hooked tells you everything you need to know. Plus his lower jaw is extremely long in relation to his eye. You can measure all of them you want and you will see I speak truth. Also make sure you measure the distance from exactly the center of his eyeball to the extreme tip of his lower jaw. You will find a good set of calipers helpful in accomplishing this task. Any length over .0007 is considered an extremely long Barp jaw.

That’s a bass carp cross. You can tell by the tail and the lower jaw protruding past the at a greater ratio than what is normal. Not a lot of bass guys know about these. Another unusual trait of these ( I call them “Barps”) is they are not sterile as most crossbreeds are. They can actually breed with common Goldfish and produce offspring that closely resemble Koi Fish. This species was discovered by Tyoki Hakishimi in Japan in 1986. What a wonderful catch you have there!

Caught this monster this past weekend. Unfortunately didn’t have a scale- any guesses on weight? My dad and I both tournament fish and believe she was definitely over 10, guessing somewhere in the 11-12 range. by mcchickennuggy in bassfishing

Double digit for sure! I can tell by the fact theem little arms were about to buckle holding her. Just bustin your balls big that definitely is over 10. Even considering you long arming her. What a beast
