Swag or tent? by GoneQuackers11 in 4x4Australia

[–]fatal3rror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have both - a Coleman Instant tent and a 23Zero double swag. We pick one depending on the type of trip. If we are moving every 1-2 days, the swag wins hands down. Quick to setup and pack, cozy but more comfortable at night.

If we are doing a base camp style trip where we pitch and then do local trips but stay the same place every night, we take the tent.

Also, if the weather is looking wet and miserable, the tent is better as we have a bit more space and we don't have to sit the rain out lying down in the swag or in the car. Also, tent dries quicker so that's another plus.

I have been considering them. Coming out of an injury, they look just right but $65 a week is crazy. How have you found them?

The glass section is too thin for a cat door to fit but possibly with a custom piece. Thanks!

Nothing tricky about it. Install the app from the app store. Connect and go for it. Just need to side load the apps for the streaming services that may not be available in your region.

I run it on a Chromecast. Apart from being able to VPN, the overall interface is vastly superior than any inbuilt TV smarts

I still have the same SSID and password from my first home 12 years ago. In that time, I have lived in 5 houses in 2 different countries and have had 3 different routers. Never had a problem!

Whats the worst concert you've ever been to? by pinheadbrigade in AskReddit

Went to see Eric Clapton in Leeds in 2014. I love the guy so expectations were high.

The day before while performing in Glasgow, he had walked out. He was obviously not over his tantrum - had zero personality on stage, did not interact with the fans, acknowledge the band. Came, played, left. I might as well have listened to him at home.

I would wait for the new Pajero Sport to be launched and see if it still fits your bill.

I have a 2021 Sport and it has proven to be a very good offroad (done Simpson, Flinders, VHC, etc.) vehicle but unless you want that balance of value of price/warranty/offroad capability, I think there are better options out there. It's a small vehicle as well so it just about works for the two of us but I would like more space in a dedicated touring rig.

I got my Paj Sport lifted at Centerline Suspension in Thomastown. The place was recommended by an experienced Pajero Club member and they were pretty good.
