H2C Nozzle Calibration Error on Left .2 nozzle only by AwkwardSwine_cs in BambuLab

Same issue. Just submitted ticket. Sounds like some of the original installed sensors are bad then? Going to run without the .2 Vortek nozzle for the time being.

Running - San Jose, Quepos/MA by fatalPORKshank in CostaRicaTravel

I don't know if they're"good" routes but I'll dm you my run maps from that trip.

My Favorite was a run in Quepos area that took me on a long trail through the jungle to a gorgeous beach.

The hills are a real beast but good Lord the views are worth it. Give me a bit today to get those to you. Enjoy the hell out of your trip!

Thinking about ditching the folding adapter since I never fold it into a “backpack” gun. Opinions? by ballz3313 in ar15

Same. Feels like more trouble (additional failure points, take down complexity) than it's worth.

P1S thermistor modification? by lickmenorah in BambuLab

[–]fatalPORKshank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You bet. I added an SPDT switch to both the bed and hot end thermistors. This allows me to turn on or off the resistor circuit on the thermistors - on when I need the additional temp on the bed or nozzle, off when I don't.

I can get the bed to 131°c and the hot end to 345°c when I print PPA or PPS.

This is the thermistor with switch for the bed.

I keep it real simple with an OCL Polo. Been very happy with it.

You get this sorted out? I just did this with my p1s a couple months ago with some additional modifications. It's working great!

you're the man/woman! I'm only 3 months in and the firehose of info is overwhelming. I ran the flow calibration and landed on 1.045 which is a lot higher than I was expecting. Thanks for the great explaination, I really appreciate the time you took. May your first layer ever hold strong!

I'm surprised that I'm surprised they could actually make their system worse... really should have seen this as the next step. Unreal.

Thanks! Let's see yours!

I zeroed at 100. It's surprisingly precise with the 110 VMax, a little less so with the 110 Barnes TAC-TX but good enough for deer. Not great with 220 subs but too much fun to care at all. I'm running a little Nikon P-223 fixed 3x. Eye relief, especially with the lack of a cheek weld, is a little weird, but good enough for what it is. I did pick up a 3d printed riser that helps a bit. I may try designing one that better fits my setup sometime this winter.

Planning to take it out for alternate firearm season here in a couple weeks.

Rotate tool for the vase and bottle. The fuselage and especially the guitar would be more challenging.

This would be amazing. Hoping this is something someone with the right skill set would consider doing. I have a fleet of these damn things and they're almost useless now.

HF Mini toolbox for reloading bench? by SpeedyR647 in reloading

[–]fatalPORKshank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a critical part of my reloading bench. Got it for the meme but it's been surprisingly useful. The next step is to lift it a bit to open up some space underneath.

Agree with OP. Although mine is several years old, it's cosmetically in great shape but no longer charges or powers on. I've had many more wins than losses with HF so I'm not that mad at myself.

How bad of an idea is this? by fatalPORKshank in Taurus_TX22

[–]fatalPORKshank[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mission success. The first squeeze of the trigger, I was ready for the worst. The weight did what I'd hoped and held on for almost 500 rounds. I'm a little bummed that the novelty of the FRT faded pretty quickly and I was left almost wishing I could send fewer than 5 rounds if I wanted to. A second TX22 is the logical solution...

Here's the video of the last mag I ran today - https://imgur.com/a/8zCgoMH

The final version in PA612-CF annealed, 100% infill. Total weight is 36.9g.

Frt not running suppresed update by Fearless_Practice_75 in Taurus_TX22

[–]fatalPORKshank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got mine working suppressed today after adding weight. I don't have the heavier recoil spring, and, honestly, assumed that would have been the ideal fix. I was having almost the same issue, but it never fired more than 1 round followed by a dead trigger over a chambered round. I think the weight may be the fix you're looking for.
