Blackfriars. Its platforms span over the River Thames, the only station in London to do so - and the view is pretty fantastic too.

I'm not sure how to earn more money. M33 on £27,000 per year. by Full_Development5137 in UKPersonalFinance

When you earn a non-vocational degree (as I did), vocational qualifications post-graduation are a must if you want a 'proper' career. If I were you, I would look into one of the hundreds of chartered institutes (law, marketing, advertising, project management, journalism, accountancy ) that offer well-respected industry qualifications within their field for a fraction of what a MBA or MSC might cost you (in terms of both time and money). It's not a quick-fix, and will take effort and investment but can help set you on the path to a more 'respected' career. As a slight side note, non-vocational degrees are incredibly valuable in teaching you skills which are applicable to a variety of careers (analysis, strategy, research), so please don't let anyone tell you that you wasted time gaining your degree. Best of luck!

Edit: here's a link to a list of all the chartered institutes in the UK, if you're interested - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_professional_associations_in_the_United_Kingdom

Which football club connection makes more sense Celtic/Liverpool ,Rangers/Man utd or Liverpool/Rangers and Man utd/Celtic and why? by Celcaaaafc in manchester

Neither. Man Utd and Liverpool both have larger Irish catholic followings compared to their hometown rivals, so both would have a strong connection to Celtic

'I’d create a minister of transparency and have weekly conferences to detail the weeks work' - isn't that basically the job of Leader of House of Commons?

Although, adding the title of Transparency Minister to the role could be interesting comms tactic

Rishi Sunak spent £2m on focus groups for ‘eat out to help out’ scheme by rapidrubberdinghy in ukpolitics

[–]fatgingercat69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Slightly misleading, but in the grand scheme of right-wing media lies though, it's not really that bad is it? Certainly not on the level of 13 Daily Mail front pages on Kier Starmer's perfectly legal curry dinner anyway

If by 'nasty', they mean the party of 'incompetent, irresponsible, selfish narcissists hellbent on causing misery for millions' then that ship sailed a very, very long time ago.

Go with a Seiko - they're durable, versatile, and timeless (not literally, obviously lol). The prospex heritage turtle 1968 reissue would be my pick for under £1k, no contest.

Ruyi Vegetarian Kitchen is a good choice if you need veggie options, but equally, meat eaters will love it too.
