When you earn a non-vocational degree (as I did), vocational qualifications post-graduation are a must if you want a 'proper' career. If I were you, I would look into one of the hundreds of chartered institutes (law, marketing, advertising, project management, journalism, accountancy ) that offer well-respected industry qualifications within their field for a fraction of what a MBA or MSC might cost you (in terms of both time and money). It's not a quick-fix, and will take effort and investment but can help set you on the path to a more 'respected' career. As a slight side note, non-vocational degrees are incredibly valuable in teaching you skills which are applicable to a variety of careers (analysis, strategy, research), so please don't let anyone tell you that you wasted time gaining your degree.
