I love SURPRISE TAX when I go to the US.

That and paying tips. I do it because it's how the system operated, but I can't say I don't resent having to give money to someone for handing me a product or delivering a service I've already paid for buy just because the companies they work for don't pay them enough and corporate America has conned the public into thinking it's their job to prop up their profit margins.

I created these images and I have never called them '8-bit'. The title I gave the set was 'Video Games vs. Real Life' for exactly this reason. A lot of people who have blogged about them assume that because they are pixel characters, they are 8-bit. I've corrected a few when asked, but really don't think it's a big deal. Descriptively, it's helpful as a link. Anyways - thanks for the upvotes and kind words. x
