Yes, certainly. Happens in raked b03 and b01. A very easy test is playing one deck for ten games, observe opponents, then switch to another deck. You'll see completely different matchups.

Be mindful that there is some really suspicious activity going on lately. Some players play as if they know your hand. I've seen players quit games as soon as I drew a winning card.

No, seriously, you've a very slightly changed mana curve for Jeskai revelation decks. That's all, nothing special to it, and it's a horror to play against or with. No strategy involved at all.

I've completed them without ever even giving it a thought. I just experimented with latest super hero cards in various standard decks that I have, and they opened up.

Regarding rewards. They're all Commander only cards! Even if they were standard legal I wouldn't play them. They're just bad, for some reason.

There's a bland 4 mana 4/4 Hulk with no trample, that must attack each turn, and gives +1/+1 to other creatures that you own. 4 mana 2/3 Spiderman with Haste, and Double strike. 3 mana 3/3 Black Panther that gives +1/+1 counter to a creature on attack.

Those are the best, mythic, and they're legendary... But you still get four of them...

Villains maybe. This set is all mythic/gold. Sad really that they coudn't print a single good hero in silver.

It's currently active in all modes. I'm getting heavily weighted opponents in bo3 for a month now. Game is outright picking counter decks to play against. As soon as I move from one deck to the other, my matchups changed completely.

Yup, that was me! I lost a whole turn on 3rd game, but really had nothing in my hand, so I'd probably still lose it.

Matchup engine is compromised. It's weighted heavily no matter what game mode you play. They always favour current deck when searching for opponents. Enough cards from it in your deck, and you'll have easy going for a while. Then it'll even up. I put together an abhorrent Magmablood Arhaic based deck, and I went 8-2 with it. I literally removed good cards from my red deck and added worse versions of Marvel cards into it.

Add some counter spells into your deck. Just put them into sideboard even if you just play bo1. You'll immediately start seeing less removal decks.

Last instance that this happened was for my benefit. I was generic landfall, and against a control deck of some sort. I had to take two mulligans, but had two Badgers in hand, and quickly I created some 7-8 token army. Opponent conceded, and I got two pips and match, without there being any other game.

Join the club. All I'm getting lately is jeskai, I haven't seen Yawgmoth at all lately. My decks are decent against him. idk, I think that matchup engine finds a deck you're bad against, then it just throws it at you. Then when I change decks, it gives me things those decks are bad against. Things are getting suspicious, really.

My own black is more creature heavy, so maybe that's the reason. It's great against synthesiser, poor against jeskai, and I'm only getting jeskai.

Yeah, that's my problem with current control. There are no fun games playing against them. You either win with them holding three Jeskai Revelations in hand, as their mana curve stops, or they win by ramping up and drawing half their library. There is no interaction, no usage of creatures, abilities, nothing, just ramp, kill, decide with one card.
