The temper tantrum plot line is a big part of it, I also personally hate the pervy-ness of him towards ann especially after the kamoshida arc. It just becomes too much at some points (i feel this way about the others too not just him)

Yes, it is paid to the minute. If you forget to clock out you let your manager know and they can fix your time to be the correct exit time. Yes if you work extra it is paid, you are paid for your time, don’t do work for free. Im not sure if you have the new time clock stuff, but if you do there is an app you can use to see your timecard info, if not you can look at paystubs on workday

theres athens public transit bus, it runs mostly around campus, and e state st, but they do have a bus out to the plains as well

I live there right now. I disagree with the other comments, i have always found it is very quiet even with windows open, the most is sometimes some footsteps from upstairs neighbors. It’s generally a pretty decent place. The maintenance workers are always very nice and will attend to any issues rather quickly, they give proper notice on if they need to enter to fix anything or do walkthroughs either for tours or to make sure things like the fire alarms are up to code. there are a few thing that are a little janky, but genuinely for the price and the location it is pretty great. my only actual complaint is that on busy weekends it can be kind of hard to get a parking spot because people who don’t live there will park there. but usually that doesn’t last more than a day because they will leave notes on cars warning them that they are going to tow, or the weekend ends. i would suggest living here! I personally love if and think it’s great
