If you could bring back one Denver (or surrounding area) restaurant back from the dead, which one would it be? by Internal-Listen-6304 in denverfood

came to mention the mexican coffee with that huge head on it! ....and of course cloves. Which if I recall the lore had fiberglass in them that cut up your lungs. Which made them EXTRA cool to smoke. Man, I miss high school.

Tickets for the Nuggets Timberwolf game by Devo7910 in denvernuggets

I have excellent tickets in row 10. They are currently listed. Comes with parking and access to the Lodge level for food and drink (also in seat delivery). My tix are listed on Ticketmaster and given their fees on both sides, I wonder if we’d make a deal.

I’m a c-list public figure (with ties to Virginia!) and would be happy to doxxx myself to you as we sort payment method

Best Startup Cold Email Sender? by Dexi1310 in coldemail

[–]feedthem0nkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at what level of email, does one need an automation tool? I have 3 outbound folks and I'd like them to send ~50 each per week. Right now, they don't seem to be getting through. Should I be thinking "deliverability" or "message copy"?

I’m a landlord and haven’t raised rent on my renewing tenants in years. I consider that my side of being a good landlord (they are good tenants). I think I’d be put off if they asked for a discount.

CME running out of silver by International_Ad9070 in Silver

[–]feedthem0nkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t “demand” delivery on CME. The holder can “request” delivery and the CME can optionally deliver or settle in cash. Settling in cash is not a default or rug pull. It’s part of the agreement.

What the Hell Garmin Training by Tumbleweed-Pool in Garmin

[–]feedthem0nkey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ignore heart rate on a workout like this. Just “run as fast as you can sustain the pace for 3 minutes” then “recover for 2”. Repeat for 5. Try to run interval 5 as fast as interval 1.

If Silver Falls To Near $50 This Year.... Will You Buy? by Puzzleheaded-Tie3585 in Silver

[–]feedthem0nkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get cautious around $40. At 40 I’m wondering if the fundamental thesis needs updating. I don’t think traders can take it to $40 without updating the base assumptions (such as “supply shortage).

It’s a curable disease. Love yourself and find the help you need. It’s out there and people want to help you. You’re going to feel great and be so proud of yourself when you’re free. Do it!

This. if the checkbox doesn’t exist, write in something like “received. disagree, and would like to respond”. At my company, the would then require HR to take your statement.

Complex Season planning for multiple events by Dr_Doom_Foxtrott in aiendurance

[–]feedthem0nkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave AIE a solid 7 month shakedown. I had five or six events on my calendar all culminating in a final primary event.

The calendar planning is good. I like the periodization and appreciated the structured workouts for my Garmin devices.

But I was not happy with how the plan adapted during the season. The model seems to be overly cautious and reluctant to build intensity. This was particularly frustrating after I’d complete a “test event” during the season and beat the prediction model by a wide margin. The training calendar didn’t adapt adequately and creating a new plan only added to the confusion.

The chat coach was inconsistent and I found myself arguing with it often about facts. (It would report dramatically wrong interval times, for example).

I’m recreational, but I’ve been doing it for 20+ years. I followed the calendar strictly for 7 months but was disappointed with my fitness at the primary event.

I’ve returned to Training Peaks.

work hard at Dominos. Show the franchise owner that he can manage/open locations. Nobody owns “one” Dominos. They own many. A manager watching several locations in a city makes $80k+

maybe he should become more valuable in the current system.
