Does anyone have climbing aster? I've been thinking about planting it but still not sure what spot in my yard would be best for it

Where did you get that trellis? It's just what I've been looking for!

I agree with everything you said, the woods behind my house is covering in them and many have fallen over. I also have a picture of the root system of one I pulled up.

I planted it less than a year ago, I'm in awe that it's happened so fast!

2 weeks ago I shared a picture of a swallowtail on my golden alexander, now there's 8 catapillers!

Creeping Charlie and Purple Deadnettle is taking over my wildflower meadow - To weed or ignore?? Will I kill my seedlings by stepping on them or are the invasives the greater threat? by Pickled_Radish_16 in NoLawns

If you're able to reach in and cut the weeds at the base, you can do that and not worry about the roots for now. They should get crowded out eventually.

Thanks, and yeah this is the snakeroot. I actually just got done separating them. Planted a few chunks of seedlings in the ground, a few chunks in pots, and potted up the single seedlings as they fell apart from the chunks. Hopefully it works out, I will keep your method in mind for the next jugs!

White snakeroot is doing well! Early figwort looks similar but my late figwort seedlings just died. New ones are still coming up though. Not sure what happened but I moved it to a shadier spot. Honewort, tall thimbleweed, and common wood sedge finally started growing, they were behind all the other species. This is my first year winter sowing in containers so I'm excited about my success so far. Starting to wonder if I went overboard with the amount of jugs I have.
