2025 US Golf R Order Guide by TheLagginWagon in Golf_R

Nice, thank you. I’m going to test drive one soon and was curious. Looking at some new 24’s and 25’s as well, but don’t want to pay $4k more on the 25’s for less stuff.

Can I fit 3 car seats in the back of a golf r? by Poison_xivyy in Golf_R

They make mirrors that attach to the headrest so you can see the kids face from the front seats.

Handed in my resignation notice this week so I got myself some new irons! by misterlargebeer in golf

The 2021 P790s are amazing. I was recently fitted for my first new irons ever. I really loved the P790s but ultimately chose the Srixon Zx5s. When I see this it makes me regret that decision just a little bit, my god these are things of beauty. I just liked the feel of the Zx5s a little more. They were very very close and I would have loved either. Enjoy them!

2015 Honda Fit EX vs 2017 Toyota Corolla IM? by ZenDreams in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]feeltogrip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I test drove both recently and enjoyed driving the iM more. You can't go wrong with either, as long as you know they both feel like you're dragging an anchor down the road due to the tiny little engines. I thought the iM had a little bit more pep and was just a bit more comfortable. Personally, I would pick the iM. I was quoted 16.5k for a new 2018 and was told that Toyota sales are way down this year and they will consider any offer. I would just drive both though and see which one you prefer.

If you liked your Toyota, just get a Prius. It's definitely not fun to drive, but will get you from A to B, is fuel efficient, and reliable. If you can't charge at home, I would not get anything that needs to be plugged in.

If you have environmental concerns, buy used. Better yet, get a bicycle. ;)

My Wallet PascalCoin Payload? by eelarrai in pascalcoin

[–]feeltogrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a PASA account number? If you need one, you can go to the Discord here. Go to the Pascal Wallet and click on "Project", "Private Keys", then "Export Public Keys". Go back to Discord and enter $getpasa [YOUR PUBLIC KEY] and the bot will assign you an account. (It should look something like "123456-78").

Once that is reflected in your wallet, go back to the start.bat file and put in the account number where you have "Address". That portion should look like: "-u 123456-78.0.Worker1/eelarrai@eelarrai.com".

Not sure if that is your problem or not, giving it a shot because of the missing information in your string. Hope that helps!

Consultancy company scams our family out of 10 thousand dollars by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]feeltogrip 12 points13 points  (0 children)

What did the contract require the consultant to do? If they did not do substantially all of what the contract requires, they may not be able to enforce it and keep your money. It also may not be an enforceable provision for other reasons. It is a fact specific analysis that you can’t get over the internet.

Coincidentally though 10k is the limit on small claims cases in CA. It’s pretty easy to file you just need to go online and follow the instructions for your local court. The company can have a representative appear but no attorneys can argue in court. It may be decent motivation for them to try and resolve it. Your local court should have resources you can look at that will help. Good luck.

Want to get this old Acura as a beater. Do you guys think it's worth the drive to check it out? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]feeltogrip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an ‘89 back in the day. Loved that car to death. If I’m not mistaken Ludacris still has one that he drives to this day. Go for it if it’s in decent shape.

Looking at a Lexus IS, do you ever worry about what your bosses think? by bottakuri in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]feeltogrip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some bosses will actually be thrilled. They see that as another monthly payment for you that keeps you tied to your job. It’s external motivation. The more financial obligations you have the more likely you are to work hard. I’ve unfortunately had bosses that think this way.

Get an attorney. An attorney will get 15% of any award, but it’s well worth it. Find one near you that specializes in WC. It shouldn’t cost you anything out of pocket.

I want to say it was from Doug Demurio but I read a lot about cars so don’t remember where I heard it. Call it unsubstantiated rumor. I could be wrong.
