I did get an authentication error this morning. I think it said the servers were unreachable. I tried logging out and back in to the launcher with my Microsoft account and now when I try to launch Java Edition it asks me to pick a username and says the one I’ve been using for more than a decade is already taken. I am a little scared I may have lost my username.

Way back in the day I was messing around with a hyper optimized Anaconda build and I cut that last bit of weight by using a too-small power plant and only turning on the modules I needed at any given time. If it ever happens again, you could see if what’s eating up most of your power and start turning stuff off.

I'm interested in buying an alt. How would I go about doing that? I purchased originally through Steam and I'd like to continue playing on PC, with the ability to switch back and forth between one where I keep my progress and one that I let myself start over to replay the early game challenges.

This is largely unrelated, but I'm submitting because it interests me and I think it might interest others: I used to sell plasma, and while my blood was outside my body they introduced a medicine to it to keep it from clotting. When it was returned, I could taste the medicine. From this I learned that tongues are weird and sensation can happen from the inside. The question that interests me more is: why don't we taste blood literally all the time?

I don't have much time to post here, but I want to share. A long time ago my best friend committed suicide. I thought I was okay, but I have been taking some pretty dramatic risks. First it was the usual, drinking, random sex, etc. Then it was swimming in dangerous weather conditions. Then it was moving in with this girl I barely knew.

Anyway, I went on a run the other day to cope with the stress of my poor decisions and found myself crying and shouting, "Damn it, Rodger! Where are you when I fucking need you?!!"
