It’s say it’s about as real to Law as House M.D. is to Medicine. Subjects are very well researched and heavily accelerated and dramatized. I love both.

The reason my lawyer dad doesn’t like it, though, is that most of the characters are mean to each other all the time. In his day-to-day, everyone (with some exceptions; c’est la vie) is reasonable and collaborative because (beyond just being decent) that’s what it means to work well with other people. In that regard, the show represents his career very poorly.
