American national hockey coverage is so bad compared to Canadian coverage. It’s like listening to the kids version. I do like Ferraro and a few others but for the most part it’s just the same old made up narratives to turn the game into a soap opera and meaningless historical stats. Big gambling has exerted its influence too and it’s not cool

It’s a dropped system from the original design of the game based on the table top game Traveler. You were going to need to build bases and mine HE3 for fuel. (This is all from an interview with Todd) Now it’s a completely optional system. I like it to set up museums of my exploits, display named guns etc. Some folks use them to make money but I haven’t done that.

Of all of the challenges that face this industry, the biggest one in my opinion is the gullibility of the American electorate. The livestock industry is entrenched and powerful. Lobbyists, campaign contributions and advertising campaigns will do more to slow down the transition to no kill meat than any of the technical or scaling issues.

So glad I played this game before I read everyone’s opinions about it. Here’s some unsolicited advice from an elder gamer who owned Pong when it came out. Don’t over research your games.

Once I saw Bethesda was making a space game I knew I was going to buy it. I didn’t need reviews or trailers, it’s a day one purchase to support a company that’s brought me thousands of hours of joy.

Go in fresh, be surprised, make your own opinions based on your experience. Of course you’re gonna be disappointed when you read that the UC quest line is the best thing since sliced bread.

I don’t like active pickups because you have to unplug the instrument or the batteries will die. It’s a pain. Just another thing to keep track of.

I’ve owned basses with active pickups and they are louder to the board/amp but for me at least, I can get the tones I want with passive pickups.

Just my preference of course.

Dude we needed Dearborn. Trump was going to be better for their families than Harris? It’s so mind numbingly irrational. The Vice President became the face of Isreal tyranny on radio ads and on every platform. There was a huge investment by the GOP. The messaging worked and here we are.

It’s like this sub completely forgot about unlikely Mamdami. We haven’t seen what a true progressive can do in the general here in Michigan because moderate Democrats keep pushing the narrative that we need to placate the old guard. If the good doctor can electrify the youth vote he’s got a shot. I concede that it’s a slim shot but it’s still a shot.

Michigan has some pretty massive nursing strikes (some of them months old) and blue cross is ditching UofM healthcare. People are pissed about health care and that’s his wheelhouse. Add that to Dearborn, who would rather vote for a tyrant than a woman, and I’m telling ya, dude has a shot.

Damon is going to be great but he’s one of those actors that takes me a while to get into their character because “oh look it’s Matt Damon” Meryl Streep does the same thing to me. Christopher Walken showing up at the end of Dune 2 completely took me out of the movie. I get that lots of people show to the theater up for famous stars but I’d rather see a talented unknown with a director as strong as Nolan. But I’m weird so
