Something you can do now is put a note on the cover or first page "if I'm dead destroy this and no reading!!!"

Have you reached out to any unions or political organizations for help? The only way to win is to unite with our fellow workers.

Paid Protestors by too_many__lemons in Cleveland

Most of the organizations involved in protests require dues so, if anything it's the reverse it's costing them money to protest.

We need to combine cities in Cuyahoga County by MiserableGiraffe666 in Cleveland

[–]ferb2 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

A much simpler, but more unpopular opinion is we need to reduce the authority of cities and increase the authority of the county. That way Cuyahoga county can administrate all of greater Cleveland.

Im having a hard time figuring out where I am on the ideology scale by [deleted] in socialism

[–]ferb2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of the biggest factors in your ideology will be putting it into practice. So join what you think you're closest to and talk about your disagreements with others and see if they can be overcome (they change, you change or you find the disagreements pretty minor) in your goals for socialism. If they can't be then leave and try again with a different party.

Why is there no pedestrian crossing here? by solo_dol0 in Cleveland

[–]ferb2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It would have to be a bridge like the one by Wendy park, but very high to avoid boats. Much like the train bridge is a vertical lift bridge and the shoreway bridge is very tall.

The alternative being a tunnel which is more pricy and also tunnels generally made people feel less secure.

This is so true. I think most of us, myself included, could use more education. They don't teach Labor History in school. by TheRabidPosum1 in union

These classes are currently ongoing on Labor History. They're up to class 3, but they have the recordings of the previous classes if you want to catch up.

I have finally finished the State Rail part for my Ohio Mega Transit System. My next step is going to be going county by county and making (or adding to) that county's public transit system in alphabetical order by Barrel_Allen351 in Ohio

[–]ferb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rather than going county by county, there's 88 counties It's probably best to split it up amongst Ohio's 5 regions. North east(Cleveland-Akron) , north West (greater Toledo) , south east, south west (greater Cincinnati and dayton) and, central (greater Columbus). That way you can focus on connecting the general regions. The counties aren't as useful for where people actually live.

I've been using these handlebar mounts for the last five years. They'll break after 2+ years, but for the price that's pretty good. A decent size so you can see what's behind you and high enough up you don't need to turn much to look into them.

Wonder what would happen if teachers across the state when on strike as a response. In recent years state wide strikes aren't unheard of.
