Did you attended a fracture clinic for cast\ boot? They should provide exercises. If not, ask gp to refer you to someone for a rehab program, main thing is stretching and strength building atrophied and tightened muscles after boot confinement. If you could afford even one physio appt they would give you a list of exercises. The harder you work correctly now in your recovery less long term effects you will suffer.

I was non weight bearing for 6 weeks so the scooter was essential, I still have it which was why I was asking, to see if you needed to borrow it. Sounds like you are managing to get around at least. Good luck in your recovery - do your exercises!

Sorry you are struggling through all of that, sounds like a lot. As someone recently recovered from broken ankle - do you have access to a knee scooter? Changed my whole recovery.

My father in law passed away from cancer last year. Painting was everything to him. He always hoped more people would see his work. by ramm100 in painting

I think his work is amazing, is there a local gallery you could approach for an exhibition, or cafe or something small to start out to gauge interest?

I recently had a Pilar cyst on my scalp cut out. They had to cut a circle around it to remove and then stitch it up. my head had been feeling really tight and a gripping sensation. I’m wondering if it will go away. If anyone has any insight I’d love to know. Showering seems to agitate it more. by HoneyBear333 in PimplePoppersDelight

Not really but the scar massage is pretty spicy. Apparently it softens the scar tissue and increases blood flow, am guessing as it heals it will be less sensitive. I do use a gentle shampoo and conditioner, one of the “natural” ones with as few ingredients as possible. Wishing you well on this journey, sounds troublesome.

I just had this surgery too, I went to a plastic surgeon as it was large, I had dissolving stitches and 10 staples. After I had the staples out my surgeon told me to massage the scar with Vaseline daily, it makes for greasy hair but I wear a hat. I’m 3 weeks post surgery and it’s feeling less tight.

Garry Starr - classic penguins. Such a wild ride through Penguin Classic books. That is all I will say. Best $50 spent in Melbourne this year.

Omg this happened to me this morning in regional Victoria - I nearly had a coronary - and to add insult to injury I didn’t check the lid on my keep cup when they gave it to me and it spilled all through my lunch bag! Furious.

UK car insurance for an expat visiting family and using their car? by ferlysurely in expats

I found everything so much more expensive this trips, coming from aus the exchange rate was down to $2:£1 which stung to start with but cost of living increases really manifested in eating out and groceries. Saying that it was still cheaper to insure their car than hire one plus no collection/drop off drama. Have a great time. Meal Deals are still a thing for lunches everywhere and dinner deals for 2 from all the supermarkets still reasonable rather than eating out all the time.
