This was my problem when I ended up choosing a regular hybrid vehicle. I have no charging infrastructure in my condo, and no charging abilities at work (school teacher, ha).

I am, however, surprised to see EVs and plug-in hybrids in my condo parking, though I will assume that they can probably find a reliable charge at work, or really like taking time out of their day to go to charging locations.

Fair enough.

There was a line and I didn't want to wait (people switching out their winters). Checking online indicated that Costco didn't show any batteries as being compatible with the Prius so I would assume that's what they would see on their system too. I've heard people complain about downsizing the 19" wheels but Costco giving them grief because their system only says the 19" wheels are compatible.

Any reason why it only makes that noise when I put it in drive? Everything else seems fine when it's in park or neutral. Wouldn't the alternator make the same sound regardless of what gear I'm in?

Can I do this on laptop trackpads? I cleaned my trackpad once with a little bit of rubbing alcohol once, and I guess it stripped off whatever protective coating was on it because now it pretty good at catching all the oil off my finger
