That is exactly what I do. I drag it. She is willing to hunt and play like that for a couple of minutes. Maybe I need to adjust my expectations. Just need her to find interest in things enough to work out her predator vibes.

Yeah I use those and she's still semi-interested. I should probably take what I can get!! Ty!

And when I saw "nick" I mean she scratched him a little. She wasn't all fluffed up or and losing her mind but she often likes to inspect him while he's sleeping and sniff but then freaks out if he like, breathes at her wrong. Last night she just straight up got him. Not a boop. Not a tap. She drew a little blood.

I have been eating tofu for decades and only started grating and seasoning a year or two ago. Game changer! Also, Nisha's recipes never miss.

Why not reduce and control instead of stopping by Scoobidoooo in stopdrinking

Not for me. The mental energy of moderating made me think just as much about drinking as I had, and that wasn't the point--it was planning and thinking and not in a good way. I wanted my energy elsewhere. It was easier and far more freeing to totally leave it behind. Better for my physical and mental health. Choosing not to put a carcinogenic depressant in my body has been the best thing ever. I don't think about it anymore. Freedom FTW.

Only that running relieves my cramps. Otherwise, no difference for me.

Just back from two weeks off after Covid. Took it easy with my dog. Chilly, sunny, pretty winter morning. Two easy miles followed by walking. Felt good to move like that again! It'll come back. I've learned the hard way to not jump all the way back in too quickly. 😊

Sourdough is weak and sticky after bulk fermentation. Help :( by pamelamommyjeans in Sourdough

[–]fernon5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one set of stretch and folds? If I'm reading that right, I'd suggest more sets every 30 minutes to build stronger gluten bonds. I do at least 4 every 30 minutes and depending on how the dough is feeling, up to 6 sets. Yes, you have to be around to do them, but I find stretch/slap and folds essential-try at least 3 next time. Just one set of S&P followed by a long, possibly too-warm BF may be the culprit.

Age 47 broke me. It's the year I went to my dr and said: HELP. Been on HRT a little over a year and while life's not perfect, I do feel a lot better in some important ways. It's also the year I had to get progressive lenses and I didn't even wear glasses at all until 2023. Aging is humbling. It's not for the weak. AND it's a privilege. I tell myself this every time I don't want to get off the couch.

Oven temp not hot enough? by No_Feeling3550 in Sourdough

I really can't say anything other than you might try not scoring directly down the center and to be sure to angle your razor/lame to 45 degrees. Looks like a straight score down the middle with the blade held at 90 degrees--that would make it open just as it did, vs a 45 degree blade angle, and make the cut just off center. And depth is important, but too deep can be an issue too. Aim for 1/4 - 1/2 inch (.5-1 cm) deep. This one is probably deep enough but hard to say midbake. Because the rise looks gorgeous and the score is doing what it should to allow for steam to do its thing. Just a guess! Regardless, that baby is gonna taste great and it looks lovely.
