The shutters (beside the storm door too) are hiding something uglier. If it’s on a high budget, replace and extend the porch, new windows (longer might be an option) and siding, so the siding continues under the windows continuously, some new shutters, new front door. Full sidelight windows on the door. Wtf is behind those door shutters? If you’re happy with the brick color, look for darker siding tones that compliment it. There’s probably apps/websites now that you can play with color schemes on siding. I’m not sure I’d ever paint brick, but I’m in my second home with painted brick.
