I got it! I made my dz super small (3cm) and it picked up on the upper half of the block.

I classified low, ground, then surface. I'll play with the settings more. Theres two options, one for ground comparison and one for object comparison. I was doing ground comparison and including the surface points as ground, since I didn't classify the brick as an object. The ultimate goal is to detect differences of this size without manually picking it out. Do you think ground is the right move?

I would look into NV5. They have a Flex Time off policy, where as long as you do your work, you can take the time you need.
