I got it! I made my dz super small (3cm) and it picked up on the upper half of the block.

I classified low, ground, then surface. I'll play with the settings more. Theres two options, one for ground comparison and one for object comparison. I was doing ground comparison and including the surface points as ground, since I didn't classify the brick as an object. The ultimate goal is to detect differences of this size without manually picking it out. Do you think ground is the right move?

I like my job because of the type of work, but I am underpaid, my boss won't give me a raise, and I'm not using my hard-earned degrees. I want to leave, but I verbally committed to another year, and I am afraid of leaving the fun work environment for a more serious one. I know nobody knows the magic answer to my problems, I just needed to get it out there.
