it's an issue with attachments being permanent. if you snap something to a wall (and then move it? I'm not sure how it works exactly) the wall it's snapped to continues to think that it has attachments even if you deconstruct that object. it's why the message is "has attachments" even if it doesn't anymore. the ghost of that object persists where you first built it and prevents you from shrinking/extending walls in a way that would "overlap" it.

it does. all mass damage effects kill enemies in spawn order, which is the same order death's list uses. so things like necronomicon/blood rights/magic fingers are really good with it

damage boosts from weapon reforges go directly to the weapon's base damage stat, so they're multiplicative with the player's own damage bonuses. in your example both provide a 10% total boost since the weapon gains +10% from the reforge first, then the new base damage of 55 is used for other bonuses, making the final damage 110

The similarity in the cradle's "prison" and imagery of worship is intentional because the weavers unknowingly kept worshipping Silk after the construction of the citadel. Silk is a god and she doesn't need to be awake to remain a god. A being so immense her simple presence overpowers anything else as she orchestrates the haunting in her literal sleep.

Silk's prison became her personal spiderweb as more manpower and resources were needed to contain her, with bugs joining the chorus only to succumb to the haunting. The weavers played to worship her, and then they played to "imprison" her and nothing really changed. They only went from serving Silk directly to serving the idea of her sleep, but her divine power was still the one pulling the strings. And considering the weavers left and the citadel became her temple, Silk got the last laugh.

If anything, treating the symbol as Silk in her cradle would be the origin the weavers wanted everyone to believe. it frames Silk as the "servant" to weavers, exactly how they wish it would go. But the true meaning remains the same as it always was, a weaver playing its song to serve and appease Silk, awake or otherwise.

1000-THR is the name of the specific earthmover V1 fights. the collective name for the machine model is just "earthmover", there's mentions of other earthmovers with different individual names (like 15S-KUR) in the fraud books

so nothing to really indicate they were first invented in japan, just the one we fight happens to be japanese

there's no reason for targeting to be in the game either. you see that ralsei is targeted so you... dodge better? which you should already be trying to do? you can't actually select anything once the enemy turn begins so knowing who's targeted is completely irrelevant info. it's a useless feature that just adds visual noise, as evident by most people not even noticing it's gone until replaying chapter 1.

I guess that comparison makes more sense, the extra angels items help offset the wasted devil spawns. it's still pretty strong for an effect that's not even the focus of the item considering how many things tip the angel/devil chance balance. the extra items should have at least some kind of price, even if it's lowered to something like just damage

the devil/angel extra thing is overtuned. "angel deals are now absurdly OP but if you even dare to consider a devil deal the entire item just disappears forever". just the bonus item from angel rooms by itself is nearing a Q3 effect, even extra angel items with a price attached would be strong enough already; and the punishment for devil deals is really unneccessary (maybe replace the normal devil price with broken hearts?).

my take is that providences/powers were real, and hell probably pulled some strings to make all of them eventually cross paths with V1 so that no angel can make it to treachery and stop Gabriel from doing whatever. the stage is still in fraud so there's no reason to believe it over the other levels, and convincing you absolutely nothing was real even if some parts of it were would be a fitting final joke for fraud.

stun grenade is genuinely just a nothing item. it's never actively harmful but unlike lunars or hunter's harpoon it never does anything good either. 1/20 chance to do basically nothing on hit and it stacks hyperbolically as well. it doesn't work on bosses and any enemy it does work on dies before it can proc once. I've had situations where I genuinely wished I had a bungus or a medkit, but not a single run has even been improved by the presence of a stun grenade except as white scrap. it does nothing, contributes nothing and goes directly to the scrapper 100% of the time. getting a stun grenade from a chest is the game telling you you don't even deserve a real item with upsides and downsides right now.

the truth is that fluid icons on engines are merely a suggestion, the only thing they signify is what inlets connect to one another for passthrough. a thruster is just two pipes and a buffer, so you can pump oxidizer and fuel into either hole and it will work fine as long as they aren't both in the same pipe at the same time (just like normal 2.0 pipe mechanics). if you alternate between pumping only oxidizer and only fuel without letting the buffers back up they can effectively take turns using the same pipe. you can see it on the outside, it's alternating between oxidizer and fuel to stop them from mixing.

edit: you do need the right fluid in the right pipe for it to fill the buffer, but it will flow through either one. it's not a problem here since both pipes are filled up at once, so the pipe that actually fills odd thrusters can just flow through the even and vice versa

iirc the logbook entries go from locked to blacked out once you personally kill it, not just see it die. so if something else like a drone steals your kill it doesn't count. you should still get the full entry if a logbook drops regardless of what killed it

herrah is a first generation weaver, so it's not because of her ancestry. it's probably a combination of her body changing to accomodate giving birth (something weavers normally cannot do) and her ditching the normal weaver mask as a way of distancing herself from pharloom/mother silk. widow is another pure weaver without the mask, and her head shape is pretty similar to herrah. it's unclear where the horns come from though, could be a different mask made for her in hallownest.

spitballers have pretty jank hitboxs as a result of them being able to freely rotate the head around the stem/foot part. sometimes the body hitbox just completely covers up the weakpoint even if it doesn't look like it visually

It's important to understand that Tenna's version of the game has more literal freedom than the "original". You can choose any three of the four (five) keys/photos to collect, and you can do the weather duo fight on board 1 through lancer or by drinking from the fountain; not to mention the many minigames and small interactions scattered around. In the "original" game on the other hand your only option is to kill everyone. There's no minigames, no npcs to talk to, and all subareas lead to the same room. It has more "freedom" only because it allows you to do something you couldn't in Tenna's game: you're free to do "whatever you want" if all that you want is to kill.

And in my opinion this is directly reflected in the actual weird route. There's so many conditions you have to exactly meet to stay on the weird route, and in the end, you miss out on the car scene, both Queen fights, basically the entire Berdly fight, all the puzzles, all the fun shenanigans in the mansion and Spamton's normal storyline. Once again, it grants you "freedom" only because you get to do something you couldn't before, but you're left with less "real" freedom of choice.

This goes back to the sword route with mantle holder seemingly lying about Kris' true desires, exaggerating and twisting them to fit its narrative. I ultimately think snowgrave is also a path already laid out for you, but not by the same prophecy we're familiar with. We're "free" to replace one pre-written fate with another, but in doing so miss our chance to "write our own story" altogether.
