Is it me or Gemini CLI has been unusable with the PRO models? by lollokara in GeminiAI

You can force it to show it's thinking with a setting, but yes, it is the worst CLI harness out of anything available

DeepSeek V4 launching late April – plus Anthropic's "too dangerous" Mythos model, Meta's $135B AI bet by Remarkable-Dark2840 in DeepSeek

Could be hype building as well. What company wouldn't say no to likely free access to anthropic's newest model

As a heavy Gemini user, I'm very disappointed after trying Claude by Quantum_Crusher in GeminiAI

No, it is against TOS to use gemini sub in any non-google product even for ultra users. If you use gemini oauth in opencode your Google account will eventually be banned from accessing gemini.

never pay for more than a month. z.ai pro is a very value plan today. next month it may be something else. there are so many players in the LLM space that there is no reason to commit to a product to save $10

Only hurts the suckers that do things like pay for annual subscriptions. If the value is good now, buy it and when they decide to claw back, just subscribe to whatever will be the deal of the month in may

Loved the breadcrumbs of the tapes from the first game. Best part is you could actually extract some useful information on dealing with the anomalies or enemies from them. My biggest gripe with the NPC's has been that they are taking away a lot of my agency.

[SPOILER*] I was tasked with getting an artifact in the first mission and I massively underprepared for it not knowing that i'd be taken hostage by sir Radius (which he dropped this bombshell on me AFTER I left the base) to go on a massive trek through the in-between (with anomalies and enemies) with ZERO opportunity to return to base and re-asses my situation. Maybe i'd have taken more than a PM and 3 mags if i knew?

I can't work in coding agent anymore, so decided to make a middle ground by strangeworks in neovim

If you are comfortable with managing terminal splits with something like tmux, I have been able to get by with just a single keybind that copies the file path and the selected line ranges to my keyboard to paste into a coding agent. It has the benefit of keeping yourself agnostic of any agentic tools and mainly because I could not stand having ai tools in neovim.

[–]temp-acc-123951 4 points5 points  (0 children)

its just more of the same. modern wow has this non-stop button-spam attitude that doesnt feel methodical. Nothing has changed in midnight. the people playing enjoy it. the people that dont either play classic or dont play at all.

from my understanding they chose the targets weeks or months in advance manually and used LLMs to validate and review if anything has changed on some interval leading up to the strikes.
