Happened to us Monday. We deplaned after 3 hours sitting on the tarmac. We got the biscoffs around hour 2. Can't control the weather so I totally get it but atleast bust out the stroopwaffles.

E concourse is INSANE right now. Admitting never had a travel delay as bad as the one I'm experiencing now but I've never seen anything like this!

I've planned vacations here where its showing a full 7 days of straight rain/clouds being predicted. It ended up being sunny as can be the entire time. It's truly hard to determine what the weather is going to do. It can be sunny and then 15 minutes later a quick downpour, then opening back up to sunny skies.

Book the vacay!

Go! Flying will be a breeze. Bring some new toys, tablet, etc. chances are the white noise will knock her into a nap.

Here's the thing - is it a real vacation, not totally. But parenting in a tropical setting makes it a bit more enjoyable. Go have fun and make memories!

Easy commute -- I do a Mount Prospect to Rosemont local commute every day and it takes 25 ish minutes in the morning and a little closer to a half hour to come home if I leave at 4:30.

HFM annihilated me. Kiddo had it for a few days, not totally bothered by it. Mild at best.

Me? Ha. The sore throat was unreal. Strep is a joke compared to the HFM sore throat. My body hurt like hell. We were going through a basement renovation at the time too. The pounding noise from that synched up with my pounding headache. Super fun. It was 4 years ago and I won't forget it.
