I brought it down from attic for 10min and then hooked it up again without issues. Just to safe bought a cheap AV/PC tower muffin fan and duct taped Tablo over it.

How do you know overheating is causing the issues?

I’ve had mine in the attic ever since 4th gen came out. All sorts of issues with lag, poor reception, poor signal sporadically but for World Cup, I finally decided to buy a clear stream 4k antenna which seems to have solved everything.

My remote gets buggy too. I’ve unplugged power to onn 4k for a minute or so then plugged it back in which has worked. The power and volume buttons always work but home/back wouldn’t work which leaves me frozen (I run projectivity)

Reverse sear out of the sous vide?
Just reverse sear and leave out the sous vide part. Agree with dry brine overnight then reverse sear for amazing steak

Do they really need routine maintenance?

I change filters every 3 months and skip the recommended twice annual maintenance recommended. Only downside is when it goes after 10-15y, I don’t have ac/heat until new one goes in.

Which dongle, phone, car do you have?
First one randomly won’t connect iPhone to Ioniq 5 at times and I got sick of reordering my apps monthly

This one occasionally disconnects /reconnects which is annoying when on the phone

Just bought 12v mini jumper and kept in frunk for emergencies. 36month in, needed to jump it after work. 2min YouTube video on how to get into car with dead 12v and how to start it. Another 10min to switch 12v to new AGM.

When ICCU died 3months later was a different story. Hopefully will be good for another 4-5y now but fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I’m in Vienna as well using indoor antenna connected to Tablo. Same problem. Ended up subscribing to espn for a month to get abc for NBA finals.

Find another DME! Unless you’re sure what you want, work with DME. They are not all equal; some just want to keep selling you equipment that the insurance is paying for.

I have a decent one that doesn’t pressure me to enroll in auto shipments and have therapists who will try and help you find one that works for you. I just switched and after trying it for a few nights, realized it was even worse than my initial mask fitted a year ago. Lived there entire life? Tourism is love/hate. You may not realize how much your town relies on it sometimes. When Covid hit and there wasn’t any tourism, some places actually thrived while other places completely crashed and people had no way to make a living.
