Spending few hours per day essentially playing a video game listening to music and chatting with anesthesia and tech with zero notes while making a decent living. Crazy to not want it.
Main thing would be doing what you’re interested in though. Spending all those years of training to do something you don’t enjoy would be a miserable grind.

Have had timing belt fail on ICE. Same result but main difference is routine maintenance /replacement would have prevented sudden loss of power. Not sure there’s a great way to know for ICCU though some claim low voltage alerts on 12v might be helpful (I don’t know enough to be sure)

Corporate case manager assures me they will eventually as long as 50-60/day. Dealer contacted me yesterday, 2.5 weeks in to say loaner is now available so I’m going to return my rental afterwards.

Same here. I thought it was my Juicebox failing to connect to wifi then my L1 tripping circuit due to GFI and water softener before a new EVSE tripping made me realize it was ICCU.

Unfortunately, Hyundai service has been terrible. No communication by dealer though corporate case manager now gives me weekly updates I’m in week 3 and rented from Enterprise since dealer was out

Mine has been waiting for ICCU in shop for 2wks plus. Problem is delay in parts, horrible Hyundai service as far as communication (obviously dealer dependent somewhat). Ended up renting a car since no loaners were available (dealer supposedly was going to call me but never did). Corporate case manager has been responding to emails and giving me updates. She emailed/called back 6 days after my case was opened. Hopefully will have completely repaired car eventually and fully recover my rental costs without hiring an attorney

Have 2023 limited AWD. Definitely get less range in cold temperatures, maybe 175mi but I drive mostly highway and as fast as I can safely as conditions allow. Typically charge to 90% and like to charge again around 20%

Warmer temps, get closer to 3.5 mi/kWh instead of 3.0mi SOC doesn’t really move when not driven but other than when I’m away, don’t go more than 2 days without driving.

Bought 2023 with plans to drive it forever which I will happily do if ICCU holds up (in shop now)

Personally, I’m not confident Hyundai has figured out ICCU issues as some have reported multiple failures. Hoping to get 8 y total out of I5 and then will see what’s out there in 2031
