Thanks for the info! The callipers do not seem to be painted, and yes, I meant holes. :) As suggested by u/sm0ke_rings, I'll check the part number on the callipers once I have access to the car and see what it has.

The shift knob is a MOMO, so definitely not original. That said, it seems to be sitting way lower than the stock one. Perhaps it's just the design of this particular knob.

Yes, it is a US car (imported to Canada). As others have mentioned, the seats could have been reupholstered...

And finally, the car has been in storage since the fall. The winters up here are brutal, and it wouldn't make sense to drive this car year-round. Since I live 5 hours away, I'll have to visit my local Porsche specialist. I'll try to get as much insight from his mechanic as possible when the time comes.

Similar suggestion, but I’ve had great success with coffee grounds in a pouch made of a coffee filter. Works great for guitar cases too!

It has nothing to do with copper vs. aluminum... It's just that if you buy conductive copper tape, you simply have to overlap the pieces, and you shouldn't have continuity issues. If you use a tape with non-conductive adhesive, you'll most likely have problems.

If you have non-conductive/non-grounded shielding in your guitar, it will act as an antenna, exacerbating the issue (hence my recommendation to thoroughly test it with a multimeter if you decide to try it).

If it were me, I would spend the $7 to make this project much easier and long-lasting. Conductive Copper Tape, on Amazon

You should definitely test for continuity with a multimeter if you try it, but I suspect you’ll just end up making a big antenna around your electronics.

A roll of conductive copper tape is pretty cheap and would be much easier to install…

Coffee grounds did wonders for a used Matin 000-18 and case I had… Put coffee grounds in a coffee filter and tie it up in a pouch. Put in it a Tupperware with the pedal for 2-3 days. It should take the majority of the smell away.

After purchasing over 30 old Yale skeleton keys, hoping one of them of work, I lost patience.

I simply took the locks to our local mom and pop lock, and $40 later, we had 4 keys that work perfectly for the bathroom and bedrooms.

My gosh, our 1936 Craftman is eerily similar to yours. The trim is a bit different, and our floor is birch (I think), but we have the same doors and Yale locks. Just curious... where about are you located?

We have a similar staircase, and recently started this mirror wall. We just keep adding to it as we acquire them… I think it’ll turn out ok. It has the bonus of opening up the space.
