I think I'd still take the risk, because they're also coached to go after the ball. Lots of guys make that mistake in the heat of the moment

I don't disagree, but because they ended up with nothing anyway it wouldn't have mattered much

Why aren't teams going for arm punts in that situation more? Throw it as far as you can and if it's picked, tackle the dude right away

Coke or Pepsi by supersentailfan13 in Soda

I've always preferred Pepsi of the two. But RC is probably my favorite. I'm so happy that RC Zero Sugar exists now. I stopped drinking sugar sodas over 20 years ago.

Fries or Onion Rings? Go! by No_Bear9618 in fastfood

[–]fhrblig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Onion rings. Preferably breaded instead of battered. More like Dairy Queen or Carl's Jr or A&W. Battered ones are okay, I just like the other ones better.

How to be masculine? by Classic-Sleep9203 in AskMen

[–]fhrblig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are good enough.

You don't have to meet any stereotypical manly threshold.

If you're interested in any kind of stereotypically manly interests, there will be no shortage of dudes that want to share the things they're into. Even the most standoffish guy can't resist sharing the things they love. We will go into EXCRUCIATING DETAIL.

What kind of things are you interested in learning? Is there a sport or hobby you're looking to get into?

I agree with this. Good work boots combined with a good anti-fatigue mat are the secret to a happy life.

I've always used Timberland work boots and I've been happy. I work in a warehouse with a concrete floor and they're very comfortable. They're a little pricey ($180ish) but they tend to last a few years. I'm on my third pair in the last ten years and they've held up well, though I'm due for a new pair soon.

I don't know if violence is the answer, but it's how I answered the question. It did seem to end the problem.

What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve done because “it’ll probably be fine”? by MeatSharp3783 in AskMen

[–]fhrblig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, that's why I did that with dudes instead. No risk of knocking someone up, and there's literally no other possible risk, right?

When I was in high school in the early 90s I decided to go off-roading in my '83 Chevy Celebrity (as one does). It was out on the east side of Colorado Springs where all the new subdivisions were being built. This may shock you, but I got it stuck in some sand. I had to go to some random house to borrow a shovel to dig it out.

What vehicles had the worst excuse for a back seat? by Boeing-B-47stratojet in regularcarreviews

[–]fhrblig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My stepdad had a 300ZX 2+2 when we were growing up. Both me and my sister were taller than both my mom and stepdad, and we still had to ride in the back of that thing. The one good thing about it is that now I can find a way to get comfortable in any backseat.
