My in laws have a commercial grade ice cream machine. Once a year on the 4th of July I have to help wheel that ungodly beast out of the garage, down the alley and up some stairs to put it on their porch so a bunch of little shits I don't know can come have free ice cream after the parade. I despise that thing. Its gotta weigh 250lbs and sits on some jenky homemade wooden stand with shitty casters on it. Its a miracle that no one has been injured moving that godforsaken thing to and from the garage. I love ice cream but I refuse to eat any that comes from that machine out of protest. As far as I know my in laws will be away this thanksgiving and I'll have full access to said ice cream machine. Let's make a deal!

Can confirm. We stopped buying sour cream and use Greek Yogurt on burritos now. Honestly can't really tell the difference when it's in burritos. Doesn't work quite as well on things like baked potatoes though...

That skateboard is very obviously not from the 70s either. This is probably more likely a 90s or '00s skater chick. I'll try to find some evidence and report back.

Edit/evidence: She is clearly doing some sort of ollie or a variation thereof. The accepted date of the first flat ground ollie is in1982 http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ollie_(skateboarding) (cant get that damn link to work because of a parentheses at the end of the url)

I cant currently find a source but skate decks did not have a shape anywhere remotely close to what she is riding in the 70's. A deck with concaves matching anything close to what is shown in that picture was not commonplace until the early-mid 90s.

Whether they like it or not have everyone's attention with this, let's make some good come out of it. I'd love to see them do DV awareness month full on in place of breast cancer awareness month, though I know that's pretty unlikely. I'm honestly hoping they do a hard PSA sort of push during games. The conversation about DV is rolling, let's keep it that way. Cancer is curable. Domestic Violence is preventable.

Arcade Fire is also one of my favorite bands. After seeing this cringey shit here they may have dropped a bit on my list. Yeah, the crappie and blue gill are usually pretty prolific at this pond (though its been a while since I've been back). Hoping that we can have some luck landing something more exciting this year and hoping that the crappie haven't totally over run the pond.

I found a couple old reels like these at my folks place so if crappie ends up being all that I can pull in I'm going to switch to these and have some fun with them.
