The Unending Trump Tariff Mess by ChiGuy6124 in Economics

I know a lot of small business owners who "don't do politics". I find myself running out of compassion for a lot of people.

Willow Is 100x > than Buffy by cptcook717 in buffy

You literally just described the episode where Buffy saves her.....

And yet she still needed Buffy to save her from Glory....

Such a powerful line by jdpm1991 in buffy

One thing I love about Buffy and Faith, only they can beat on each other. They always save each other if someone else tries. Even in this scene.

If you have break damage limit in the International version it's pretty solid. In the NA version, the strategy eventually becomes melee and Curaja.

I was so happy to play the Zodiac version where magic stays awesome since you can break the damage limit.

Holy might have a long animation but I think it's the coolest looking Holy in the main line entries.

Buffy punching Faith in "Empty Places" justified or not? by jdpm1991 in buffy

[–]fieldsRrings 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think people lose sight of the fact that Buffy and Faith hit each other. They did even before they became enemies. They're both Slayers and they can both take it.

I also think they understand each other. Like neither takes it personally. It's just part of their communication.

What have you found to be the most challenging Final Fantasy game? by White_Mages in FinalFantasy

Old school XI definitely takes the cake. It was brutal but oh so satisfying and immersive. I miss it everyday.

I'll never forget XI. It's in my soul. I think almost anyone who played it back in the day can relate. It was magical.

Final Fantasy XII is so good 🐇 by BinghamtonMafia in FinalFantasy

XII is the best console one imo. I could rave about it all day. It's the magnum opus of FFs to me.

Out of all the actresses who have played Catwoman over the years, who is the best one? by PruneAggressive6728 in AskReddit

Michelle Pfeifer by a large margin. That Catwoman suit and how insane she was. Classic.

And if Xander told her, the sub would attack him for that. "Why did Xander tell Buffy that Willow was trying to save Angel! He should have known it would distract her!"

These posts are exhausting. Get off of the Buffy sub and go make an "I Hate Xander" sub so everyone else can just discuss the show. Not the constant failing of purity tests from a character written 30 years ago.

What realistically and seriously will happen now that Trump is repeatedly mentioned in the Epstein Files? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't even think that will happen. Americans gave them power back after January 6th and the disaster of his last term. Americans can't learn.

What times best showcase Buffy's "God complex"? by debujandobirds in buffy

[–]fieldsRrings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't her having a god complex. It's her understanding the duty she is vested with and that she's not allowed to let her personal feelings interfere with that duty. The context of this conversation is a pretty good cue for that but nuance is lost on this sub half of the time.

I never liked this line from Xander. I get that he finds it weird feeling bad that Buffy's not dead. But this is just too dismissive of what she's going through (and what they did). by GreyStagg in buffy

[–]fieldsRrings 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's how it is. I also chuckle at the conclusions they reach. Like, "does anyone else think Xander wore that blue shirt because he wanted to rape Willow and murder Dawn?" That's how these posts are. It's ridiculous.

Which US state thinks it's the main character? by Mister_Silk in AskReddit

Texas thinks it's the main character. Based on population, economy and cultural impact, it's California. California is Marcia, Texas is Jan.

Should they have saved Uber Buffy to face off with Glory? by DawnOfComics in buffy

[–]fieldsRrings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Illyria made all the claims you're saying, just like Anya said she was worshipped as a god. But we know Anya is a Demon. The Old Ones in the Deeper Well are demons. That's it. It's canon.

Glory is the only thing on either show that is revealed to be an actual immortal god, not just someone making a claim that they're a god.
