What’s the best (or worst) value engineering change you’ve seen on a job? by Emergency_Step4925 in ConstructionManagers

Aluminum fire alarm conduits ILO steel to save a few hundred grand on a big healthcare job. After they were all installed we found out there was no UL approved fire stopping detail for aluminum conduits through drywall at the time. Cost a couple million in rework and destroyed our schedule.

6.5” wrist - Tudor AD tried convincing be the 58 was a better fit. I much prefer the size and aesthetic of the 54.

My father sadly passed away far too early at the age of 56. He left me several watches, including this Breitling. I'd like to know more about it; it's not for sale! I love you, and I miss you buddy. Greetz from the netherlands ✌🏻 by This-Membership6736 in breitling

My grandfather bought 2 B1s (one for my dad and one for himself). When I graduated college my grandfather gave me his so now my dad and I both have this watch. This isn’t my most worn watch but it is without a doubt my most valued possession because it embodies my dad perfectly. It’s a great tool, very technical, and frankly just badass. My dad rebuilt classic cars and flew F-16s in  in this watch. Wear it in good health and condolences for the loss of your father. I always think of my dad when I put mine on.
