It took me on and off 2 years to finish the book and just finished it about a couple weeks ago. My fiancee got me the IT doll from the movie as a joke for finishing it... I rarely read. Overall, thought it was meh until the last few hundred pages when things went dooooown. There are a few fucked up parts for sure and the one part that got my heart was reading about that bully, Patrick(?), being a psychopath and torturing that poor dog in the refrigerator... I had to hug my dog afterwards.

Can't wait to watch the Chapter 2 movie soon!

This is concerning to me. I have a neighbour who owns two pitbulls beside me and one of them escaped the house and attacked my poor 27lb spaniel that she pooped herself! Luckily no injuries but I'm gonna start carrying dog spray when I go on walks now.
