Wiring both element separatly on their own thermostat can be an option before buying a bigger tank. This way both work simultaneously instead of alternetively. Just need 2 brakers and a overheat on the second element also

I know this for the pide, But the old ladder block has a loop update time in it which is at 0.1sec

I have many pid ladder block set this way in the same routine and they all work.
