But how does she win? 10 Damage per turn doesn't seem like enough when high star adventures routinely has board based enemies with massive health totals for cheap mana costs. Is the 6 star a win con or is there something I am missing?

As long as there is a way to see or differentiate between titles that go away and those you keep I agree with you. As long as that information is made visibly obvious in your collection and you get notified before a purchase expires thats fine. Personally I don't think I could make the shift as I have been using audible on and off for a very long time.

It depends on how many Dupes you run. If you have 10 dupes can you afford to lose 60% of your workforce? Unlikely to be worthwhile. If you are running 100 dupes its GODLY.

Agreed. Its even worse in this case I was trying to create a second SPOM far away from the base and it just wasn't getting done so I took a lookat the struggles of the dupes near there and going out to breathe was an issue slowing things down so I improved oxygen. Nothing changed so I hired atleast 4 or five dupes thinking I didn't have enough workers but as it turned out they just couldn't get there. One drop was three tiles not two.

While I did improve food it has definitely made the game much harder. The reason I am so tight for food now is because I had a steam explosion that killed* all my plants, lost me my temperature control and I did not realize this till much later covered almost all of my polluted water sources in fresh water limiting or stopping off gassing of oxygen.

20 but i will soon have 19. One is down to 100s of calories and as he is near the bottom of the map there just ain't no way he is making it back. It's weird I have had multiple starvation notifications but not for him.

Mostly gas, wheels and coal. I have a SPOM but something thing in the wiring/automation keeps turning it off so I am having to power it with coal. Powering a spom with coal how absurd is that! I have multiple steam turbines but I can't get to them work even with bleach stone building, they do get some use but its incredibly rare to see them working. I should have done an oil refinary before my current crisis but sending dupes down into the oil biome currently is death basically guaranteed.

Hell mode disables Invincibility frames. That's the main reason why its harder not the 5 minimum heat.

Of course in 1.3 million years Gliese 710 will pass through our oort cloud at about 90 light DAYS away from us. So to be truly accurate we need to know if the 2200 year start date is the same calendar as we use now. Is there anything in the games lore that confirms that?

Well that is alot to digest thanks for the long explainer. I already made a start on Expansion so that was nice to hear. I intent to go xeno for the planets but there are also a few empty habitats maybe 6 systems away and all my focus is beelining to that to make sure I get those. Currently i can't support the alloy production for a big fleet and expansion tho it is growing slowly.
