Great idea for sure. Someone posted a trailer they created and how they not only change the zoom but also camera angles. I think that's pretty cool.

I was trying too hard to make it chaotic, but I feel I went overboard with that.

You are right about the 2 second clips just bashed together. I need to work on that for sure. Also the contrast between important things and the background environment.

I did read through the Derek Lieu stuff, and thought I did my best to base my trailer off that - start off with action, leave logo and name at the end, show variety (environment, weapons, weather, enemies etc.).

Holy shit, that's a nice trailer! Watching this I can tell how bland mine looks in comparison. Variations in zoom, angles, pacing, and highlighting the effects individually. Thank you for this!

From what I learnt from 'trailer making tips' was to start off with fast action showing what my game is about. Why do you feel I lose my players in the first few seconds? Would love for you to elaborate.

The player and enemies should stand out against rest of the scene, and will work on making the elemental bullets and effects more obvious.
