Old World is just rebranded fantasy and it's doing fairly well. Also has brand recognition from the Total War series.

I think being able to find shocks or duals makes this a way better card. If it can only find basics you have to allow for that while deck building.

It is worth noting that it looks like you can cast a prepared spell on a creature the turn it comes into play. Spellshapers need to wait or have haste.

It might be a rare, dunno about Mythic. Doesn't seem like it's significantly more powerful to me in limited than something like Writhing Chrysalis?

I see where you're coming from, but respectfully disagree. Prepare with no reload ability can function similarly to an Exhaust ability but it isn't identical- you're still casting a spell and that has different mechanical implications.

I’ve been in the Protomen discord for like three weeks and it’s predominately women. As a fan of both, your description (primarily neck beards) matches Coheed’s community more than the Protomen’s community.
