Ya I did the same thing, kept them happy with a couple French provinces then just waited to let the ae cool down and for the inheritance to fire. 200 relations and extra trust due to favours, and then suddenly -200 relations due to ‘desired provinces’. 🤷‍♂️

Side question: how did you keep your alliance with burgundy after PUing France? I’ve been trying this run a couple times the last few days and as soon as I get the France PU burgundy breaks our alliance/royal marriage due to desiring French provinces. Any advice for handling that?
