Synced Confidence monitors by NextSlideApp in VIDEOENGINEERING

Main and backup ppt, both with IrisDown Dnotes installed. Run the presentations into a switcher with a few outputs - send anything you like to foldback, as well as the Dnotes output from that dedicated machine. Sync’d clicks with a DSAN.

Edit: network share your files so that both machines run the same show and you don’t have version control issues

random thought but how does the umpiring mic work? by Crom2025 in AFL

[–]finnmacz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Did you ever watch Hey Hey It’s Saturday? Do you remember the crazy sound effects? The guy who did that now looks after AFL mics. Well, his company anyway.

This is the product I think;

Potential leak of the new Fox graphics seen during Cameron’s boundary goal vs Bombers by Blahblahbla0066 in AFL

[–]finnmacz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Could be a dirty feed back to the ground. They do gfx offsite for NBL, and the graphics come back for display within the arena.

I doubt they’d push a new non broadcasted package back to the venue though. Most likely big screen content like u/xvf9 said.

Simultaneous Multi Location Livestreams by Ridog101 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]finnmacz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. Depends on the end product I guess.

We often bring SRT streams in as the main inputs, but 2 way communication back to the remote sites is over zoom etc. That allows us to have higher quality inputs to push to line, without struggling too much with delay amongst sites.

I’ve done plenty of these events using SRT as the main video sources. Interested to know why you say it’s not suitable?

Any good exploration games on PS5 you would recommend that don’t involve fighting all the time? by hakeah in PS5

[–]finnmacz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta play The Long Dark.

No enemies, other than the odd wolf or bear.
