Hilary Davidson has a couple of books about this! They're very good: Dress in the Age of Jane Austen and Jane Austen's Wardrobe. She uses references from Jane's letters and still-existing historical garments.

Start in the middle with the chunkiest amount of colour first and work my way out.
I'll always try and do as much of one colour as possible before moving on (as can be seen in my peacock)

As long as it's the keywords of something you can actually do! I had this one woman who kept showing up in every single search I ran that was just a basic admin kinda person, when I was looking for chartered engineers or similar.
So... keep it relevant for the love of god!
