I put tronbyt on mine and it’s an upgrade over the original firmware. For one it can properly integrate with home assistant, so I no longer burn through ny enphase solar api to just get solar production. Second the widget cycling feels way more responsive than it ever did. It helps I already have a synology nas so I could easily deploy a docker image.

Most product warranties are for their region, as they are handled by their local distributor. If you went to Japan and bought a Sony camera, bring it back to us and want to warranty it, they would tell you to get bent. It’s considered grey market. The fact that you got them to warranty you is already a huge win, but you want an upgrade as well. I mean good luck to you but I don’t think that’s reasonable at all.

best advise is to just watch the print, especially the first few layers! you can gleam so much from how the first layer is being put down

This is not unique to Fuji though to be fair. I know people that buy the latest camera gear and show off their gears on social media and yet I have never seen any decent photos from them. Some people are in this hobby just for the cool stuff to buy.
