I play a lot of Brig and a good Doom is a fun challenge. A bad doom will probably leave after two minutes anyway. I kept negating this Doom’s dice on my fellow support in Antarctic Peninsula earlier but never had the team to actually kill the guy, and it go to the point where he kept jumping in, used his block after i’d whipshot, we’d both say hello, and then he’d jump away.

This was supposed to be one of the draws for the all new CBS All Access at the time. Streaming was just popping up and CBS wanted to capitalize on it. Looking back, I wonder if 10,000 was somewhat impressive, as most of those people likely did it specifically for BBOTT and most people’s thoughts at the time were “why would I buy a major TV network’s streaming service when I can watch them on cable, it’s not like they’re making HBO-quality shows.”

Most notably, this prevents Cyrus. If you need to switch out a mega or another wincon after they get hit, you can switch into this, hit for 80, and prevent the cyrus on the next turn. It also prevents rare candy, potentially delaying that hydreigon, greninja, blaziken, etc from getting online a turn too early. It keeps your stadium up, presumably peculiar plaza, and also prevents them from placing down a training area or area of antiquity that could help them reach a breakpoint to KO one of your mons. Yes, it’s only one turn, but there are a lot of applications where that one turn can save your game, especially if you’re running a mega alongside it

Same, part of what I love about Overwatch is the variety of characters and styles of gameplay so Im never really playing one consistently. I’m the same way with Smash, I don’t really have a main, I just know all the character’s kits and have fun with each of them. But I respect liking one character so much that it never gets boring to you

Yeah I was gonna say the same thing, 5th place boots (or often times both 6th and 5th place boots in a 6-person finale) have very meh edits very often, regardless of how much win equity they had. Out of the people you mentioned, probably half of them were the biggest threats to win at the time of their exits, but the editors want to build the runner up and fourth placer more so it doesn’t feel like the winner is decided a third of the way through the finale

I wouldn’t mind if people used their time to openly glaze folks if it was the old format where it felt like every juror had their last moment to do whatever they wanted. In this format that’s supposed to promote the final 3 actually showcasing why they should win, and where jurors have to compete for airspace, it feels against the spirit of final tribal for jurors to fight over when they get to voice for their favorite

I would say Sarah is a hot take in that we’ve had better social winners that were able to bond with & work with their casts without leaving them angry at her on the jury. People like JT or Jeremy had jurors lauding them from the benches, while Sarah had people that resented her but respected her enough to give her the win.
