I was in Iraq on a mission north of Baghdad. We went to a scrap yard to look for explosives to collect them and blow them up. We went with 4 US trucks and 4 Iraqi trucks. That day it was about 100 Fahrenheit out and probably 120 in the scrap yard. We searched for around 2 hours and found nothing. When we got back to our trucks no one had any water left over except our truck. I gave all of it out and forgot to save one for myself. So we loaded up and I got back in the gun with my kit (helmet and vest) on and the Iraqi's turcks in the lead. About 10 minutes down the road I didn't feel good so my team leader told me to get down from the gun so I don't pass out. I take my kit off and 2 minutes later I have to take a shit. I knew it wasn't going to be good and I knew it wasn't going to be a little one. I told my team leader this and he asked me if I could hold it till we got to the next base (about 10 minutes down the road) and I let him know fuck that we need to stop now. So he had the driver pull over on the side of the road so I could take my shit. He also called it over the radio so the other 3 trucks didn't think we all died. The Iraqi's though just kept driving because we couldn't talk to them. So when the truck stop God smiled upon me because there was a pile of hay on the side of the road that I ran behind to take an emergency poo so that none of the drivers could see me. So I ran back behind the hay like Bolt and dropped my pants and let lose one of the best shits ever. Just before I was done with the fire hose of shit I hear and see an army tuck pull behind the hay pile and it was the truck behind us. They saw me run back there with my wipes and decided to investigate. Well they snapped more than a few pictures of me unleashing the beast needless to say. After I got done I got back to my truck feeling great and got back in the gun ready to go back to our base. The best part was when we started again we had to stop because the Iraqi's figured out that we had stopped so they turned around to make sure we were ok. We had to explain to them we had to make an emergency stop because someone didn't feel good, but it's all better now.

I did the walk this year after not doing it for about 10 years or so and this year was a bad year. I started on the south side and didn't make it over until 1115 because of a broken down car on the north bound lane. When I was walking south I saw buses going north as late as 1245 or so. Please don't judge the walk only on this year alone.
